Retro 24 isn't another timeline-and-clip DAW. It's a mixing desk: a channel strip on every track, VU meters with real ballistics, and tape-style punch-in recording that keeps your hands on the faders instead of the mouse.
Every channel carries a built-in compressor and three-band EQ, the master section adds a spectrum analyzer and phase correlation, and your favourite VST3, VST2 and AU plugins slot straight into the inserts. Hook up a Mackie Control or any MIDI controller and it feels like the hardware it's inspired by.
Projects are saved as plain WAV files with readable XML metadata, so your sessions stay yours, today and twenty years from now.
